Would anyone know whether it is possible to dye velour fabric as found on front seats? A mate of mine is re-building his HQ one-tonner and wants to change the faded green to black.

I am not sure if you can dye it, but to do a proper job would require soaking at some point.
A better idea would be to get a trimmer to replace the green, better result in the long run.
