Wow, these were a long time in the waiting, I had a pair of the earlier reproduction ones which unfortunately didn't line up with the holes in the body
Good to hear that they have now been remade as they are hard to find in good nik
Is there any likelihood of the wagon rear quarter "Station Sedan" scripts being done
Or the "Holden" running script for FE Commercial front guards?

I had a look at these at our last meeting and I must say that they are excellent quality. They are virtually indistinguishable from genuine apart from the paint in the prototype not being quite right yet. We have tested them on a car and the pins do line up. Ken

Did they try and use Marinello Red ? I thought that was a close match for the original colour. Cheers Stewy

No, colour was fine, it was the masking that wasn't quite right. The one in The pic looks better.

I got to look at one of these in person during my trip to Melbourne last weekend. They are an excellent reproduction.

Station sedan badges are a possibility. We have a few projects on the go at the moment including the standard sedan rear screen rubber. Now that the sedan badge is made it should not take as long to progress other badges.

The wagon badges are possible but we are unsure of the sales , we may look at tail lamp rims next. Les

Just out of curiosity Les, how is the next repro "bit" to be made determined? Is it feedback from the masses or opinions from experts or something else? Surely something like headlight surrounds (notoriously hard to get and then chrome to a good finish) would come up before tail lamp rims?

It is a combination of things that come together, feedback, our wish list, expert advice, advice from car clubs , forums, our manufacturing capabilities, model fitment and most importantly what’s left in in the manufacturing budget. The next diecast part we make will not fit FE FC at all it will be a HQ part. The tail lamp rim is the next FE FC diecast part to be made and yes I would love to make the Headlamp rim and if possible we will eventually make them. The reasons for making the tail rim it fits 4 models (a small reason) the most important reason is that we do not have the capability to make the FE FC headlamp rim at the moment but we will eventually be able too, I would say before the Station Wagon badge. There are other things that come into play but this is a brief description of how decide to make parts I hope it answers your question. Les
