Is anyone making Caltrac style bars or has anyone made there own and want to share there information.

G'day joezan,

Have you got your heart set on the Caltrac type design, or just some form of traction bar? Lakewood still make the traction bars, which are available from places like American Autos (Rare Spares Sydney) for around the $100 mark.

Thanks Harv, yes I prefer the Caltrac type I thought I saw a tangerine 350 FE with some at a car show in Walla but never got close and personal to look properly wished I met the guy for a chat.

Hi Joezan,
that car you saw was mine, and that would have been a couple of years ago. i made my own caltrack set up and it works fantastic. pm me your email and i will send you some photos,

    just an idea. how bout, control arms? brackets welded on top of diff housing, brackets welded to subframe...strenghtened, arm inbetween.
