Hi knowledgeable people.

I've searched the forum on fitting this rubber and read that it just gets glued in without the metal backing.

The ones I have are only around 2/3rd's in width of the originals, does this sound correct?

Surely there is a cross section that is closer in size to the original.

Thanks , Ian.

Doing this same thing at the moment and am getting a little stuck on how the upright rubber fits.
Does anyone have any photo's or can explain how it attaches.

From what i can gather the flat surface glues done onto the metal plate?

As always any help appreciated.

Very hard to take photos of these things
Here is an original and a repro

Original is 13 mm wide and repro is 12 mm wide. The backing plate is not used with the repro.
The repro is not flat where it glues to the channel.
