1957 Holden FC Ute - 131 grey motor 3 spd running driveable but NO BRAKES,.

Blue exterior & interior, Tow Bar, Sun Visor, Canopy, Hub Caps in good condition.

New Parts include Tail lights, Clutch Master, & Slave, Brake Master. Ute has rust issues in floors, sub frame appear intact, motor runs but is a little smoky, diff & gear box seem ok. Comes with the following spares - Gear Box, Clutch and Pressure plate, steering wheel, column & indicators. Original valve radio in working order. Not being an FC man but more an EK FB fan is this seller right ?  Is this holden that rare?

Ex Australian Army Holden FC 217 business sedan. One of the rarest holdens ever built , it is believed only seven 217s are known to still exist. Needs restoration.

You know how long I have been collecting car ID details.
In that time I have amassed details from about 3000 FE and FC's
I have just 8 FC 217's recorded
2 of them were wrecks - don't exist anymore. Just the plate remains.

The reason for the rarity is that they were discontinued at the end of 1958 and only about 300 were made in total. The highest body number I have recorded from the 8 cars is number 292.

Let me put it this way, FE wagons are commonplace in comparison.
