When it comes to going on club outings A 3 seater is not cutting it for me , So if anyone has an original type rear seat to suit an fc panel van, I believe its a fold down type , Please contact Slim 0402465768 in Sydney .  Also to have one of these fitted do you enter for seating through the rear gate or did the front seat perhaps fold forward allowing an entry point . If so I require A folding front bench also . Any help is much appreciated .

would a station wagon seat do?
you would probably have to trim the sides of the extra reinforcement parts of the floor(where the flat van floor runs over where the seat used to go)

Slim, wagon seat is the go - it bolts straight in because the van has the same floor pan underneath as the wagon.
You can enter whichever way you like.  Or add a third door also from a wagon.

This is how the original 3-door vanettes were built.

Hi Slim, i realise this post is years old but i wanted to know how you went fitting a rear seat to your van?

is it a major job or just a matter of getting a wagon seat, removing a part of the timber floor and bolting it in.

thanks
