Seems a lot of trouble to go to just to get all that grief? Is there any big advantage to a later model front end? Drums aren't as good as discs but as with most of these old cars you drive accordingly and all's good.

Hi mate, I have a rear rack from rods racks, he uses hq power steering arms as they are shorter, no bump steer or clearance issues. Bit hard to find but they are around, I will take a photo if you want.

Yes they are cool because u can run original steering wheel. He also told me to drill upper control arrm rear bolt 10 mm lower he said he did on his ute and it steers like on rails did you ever try it?
