why ice and not msd,
do you really need 2 set (unless your over 1-150hp shot of gas you can go without)

i know a few with ice because they were easier to program and wire + made here
but msd is now just as easy with the removal of the pills, the msd also has soft limiter

both much of a muchness just don't rule out msd when chasing s/h

Yeah I have the 6al set up and its playing up causing back fire and not stable. Plugged in a friends ice 2 step and she lights them up no problem. Plus the 2 step you can adjust timming without touching the dizzy and adjustable rev limit all by a push of buttons.

dare say that was more in the new tune done with the msd unless he went with big/better mdl like the 7 series or belt drive
going from a the ice 7amp to a 6al i just don't see 80rwhp out of it on its own, but i could be wrong unless the ice unit was faulty,
I've got mates running both systems on very slimar setup (on sbc) and are all very close power wise,
I'm running 630hp fly on stock inj, full pipes, and the misses drives it every day to the supermarket,

I just dont hear many good stories anymore about the msd like years ago when it was the way to go. I think they have lost there quality in the past 5 years or so. I know a few guys running it and one of them gained 40hp just by the swap. Anyway anybody got a set up they want to get rid of let me know.
