A couple of years back I bought a set of used extractors for a grey motor and have only just tried to fit them. They definately fit but you can't use an intake manifold with them! No 2 and 3 pipes get in the way. My twin carb manifold is a fire streak and if I try to bolt it up it will only sit on top of the pipes and the ports will not go close to lining up. Using a stock manifold is the same.

i've now bought a new set of MPH extractors which allow the intake to bolt up.

The difference between the two sets of extractors is that the first set has all 4 pipes extending out the same distance from the head before merging to the collecter. The MPH extractors have pipes 2 & 3 indented when compared to 1 & 4. Phew....i hope you get that....

Anyway what type of intake manifold do you think suits the first extractors? The extractors have "D&H" in raised letters on them.
