Hi guys,

Apart from the dash or internal A-Pillar, what thoughts/ideas do you have upon an appropriate and user-friendly place to mount a tacho? I've got a large Sun strip-style tacho to mount somewhere - I was thinking about mounting it to the left of the steering column, but it restricts vision to a couple of gauges, and if I mount it to the top of the column, it restricts vision to the speedo. The other thought was mounting it HK Monaro style, but it looks a bit odd, as does mounting it on the dash.

If anyone has photos to show what they've done, it would be a great help, too.

Cheers,

Josh  Smiley

Hi Josh I put my tacho oil pressure and temp gauges in the speaker grill in the centre of the dash If I could remember how to upload a picture I would post one for you.

i have mine screw in on the bottom screw in the A pillar so i can remove it and leave no holes,
and i run the cable through the gap where the top of the dash meets the facer

I'm running the 5" pro comp without shift light
