Modified as Ken picked up the rh hole was in the wrong position.
Really wanted to sell as a flat pack.
But it would be near impossible to get all the bends at home.
I had to use one of our custom nothed out press brake blades.
So will have to work out a price complete and finished

Looks pretty good. It would be valuable to do a mock up now with a mirror stalk and a clock.

If I could suggest maybe David (ridgey didge) or Gary (Zulu). I sold my clock to Dave. I can check the mirror stalk fit but not the fit of the clock in the frame

Pete,

If it helps, I can post you the clock I bought from Ken so you can check the fit in your shop.

I sent one off today to ridgey_didge  to trial fit id rather that than have to worry about a clock in transit.

Thanks Pete - the bracket has arrived and looks good.  It is a slightly tight fit to get the clock into the bracket, but should be OK.  I have noticed for the first time that one tab on the frame of my clock is folded inwards and needs straightening before I should attempt to get the whole unit into the bracket.  I will take them home to where I have the tools I will need to ease both bracket and tab - then to see how they line up in the car.

Watch this space....

Cheers

And here she is:

After easing the bracket open just a slight amount it all fits together well.  The photos show a loose fit up and the clock not the last few mms into the bracket, as I just wanted to be sure of the fit before doing a final tighten up.  In any event, I will now paint the bracket in brown to match the mirror and my interior colour scheme.

Pete, you're a wizard with that water cutter thingo.  I am really happy to be able to now fit the clock and add a desirable accessory to my car.  Please let me know what I owe you for your time, trouble, postage and skill!!

Very happy,
David

David the clips on the clock look wrong. Do you have them this way on purpose or it was just in mock up stage?
