It turned out pretty good , but is a death trap to drive , No rear vision at all , minimal side vision also , Just have to carry a passenger with me when I go out

It turned out pretty good , but is a death trap to drive , No rear vision at all , minimal side vision also , Just have to carry a passenger with me when I go out Mate, surely that doesn't come as a surprise to you?! With the recent cold snap I've been driving to work in Faecal with the back and side windows completely iced over. I can't see to change lanes or overtake. So I've thought about you a few times, deliberately achieving the same effect summer and winter. It seems to me there is a reason why those blind rear gates are so rare... either the van they were attached to got flattened, or the owner had the sense to get it glazed after a near miss or two. Talk about sacrificing comfort for style Maybe a set of those natty caravan mirrors (you know, the ones with the frame that goes from under one guard, across the bonnet and back under the other guard) would be the shot Either that or just leave the lid up when driving... cheers RET

HI Slim Looks good mate. I am agree with RET, your van would look great with a set of those old style mirrors, who cares if they are not NASCO a few stickers here and there and the uneducated would not pick it. They must have been a period accessory for a car like that . I can not wait for the pic when you put the bird and grill badge on.

slim i've been driving a blind van for years -not quite as collectable as yours;2 features make it a blind van 1; it's usually so full of crap that ya can't see out the windows-a co pilot is essential 2;the photos will explain the 2nd reason it doesnt help the visibility but gives u a little respect on the road perhaps u could use a similar sign please dont hang crap on me for buying a van with a blue oval with a four letter f word on it..we all make mistakes
