They fit Bosch headlamp buckets, not sure whether FB EK had Bosch headlights. Lucas were more common

Hi Pete, I think there would be some interest in Air Comp Brackets for a grey if they were easy to fit. Cheers, Graham

the gaskets have odd cutouts that do not line up with anything so i will try them on Lucas as well.

The Bosch gaskets must multi fit a few different makes of Bosch headlight buckets. Not all the cutouts are needed for the FE FC buckets. Lucas gaskets are totally different Ken

Maybe hilux ? My logic in that is they are the most gutless car i have ever driven so surelly that compressor turns pretty easy. And its a single v belt. It would have to be setup to use the rares style harmonic balancer with a v belt off the front of the 3 puller holes in the balancer. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

The aftermarket grey motor balancers can use a GMH red motor twin v-belt pulley. These will bolt to the aftermarket grey motor harmonic balancer using the three “remover/puller” holes ((3/8-24UNF on a 213/16” (71.44mm) PCD). Be wary though that GMH pulleys are two different groove sizes on the one hub. For example, one groove is 5.25” diameter, the other 5.10” (the other pulley I have is 5.23” and 5.09”). Doesn’t sound like much (and hard to see by eye unless you are looking for it), but it means you can't use them as twin v-drives (two belts driving say a supercharger). They are however perfectly fine for driving two different units (eg an AC compressor and a power steering pump). Another option is to use an alluminium pulley from a Chev (eBay special). The bad thing about using Chev pulleys though is that the internal bore is much larger than the grey motor crankshaft (the Chev is 1.1” versus the 1” grey motor crank). This means it can be quite hard to centralise the Chev pulley onto the grey motor crank. I tried using one of the harmonic balancers as a template, and even taking quite some care could not get the three holes drilled perfectly concentrically. If using the Chev pulley it is recommended to either get a hub centric ring made up (a washer 1” ID and 1.1” OD), or to have the three mounting holes professionally drilled by a machine shop (3/8-24UNF on a 213/16” (71.44mm) PCD). Note when buying a Chev pulley that you will typically want one that lies very close to the harmonic balancer (rather than the “long water pump” type that stick out further). A Speedmaster PCE239.1008 item is not a bad choice ( http://store.speedmaster79.com/), and is 5.457” diameter. Cheers, Harv

The red motor pulleys are not that uncommon. They appear on eBay every now and then. I've got two of the things at home. Was going to use to drive Normans, but can't as the grooves are not identical diameter. Naturally, I only found this out after buying two, stripping, priming and epoxy enamelling . I think they cost me $80 a pop. Happy to sell one (or both) if you want one. Cheers, Harv

Thought I'd get my order in early for one of these commercial spare wheel clamps Pete. Accolades to Andrew for putting the pressure on. Seriously though there should be pretty serious demand for these. Cheers Clay
