Hi All,

I will soon be painting front and rear springs, sway bar, etc.
I am worried that the paint will crack or be damaged in some way as the steel flexes.
Does anybody have advice or thoughts on the matter?
What is on the originals?

Cheers,
Prof.

I always separate  the rear leaves paint them individually acid etch then light coat of primer then top coat ,reassemble them light rub down and top coat them not to heavy so as the paint won't bridge in between the leaves  ,, this way no rust will bleed out between the leaves later ......FC427........

Thanks guys.

Ken, is "Chassis Black" the colour, or a type of paint?
Please excuse my ignorance as I'm not a paint person.
