I am no spammer and would like to know if there is a builder for a 3/4 chassis for my fe 1960 ute .As the old ute was found in the open on a property near Mitchell qld and has sat there for about 20 yrs . On bringing it home on a trailer the drivers side chassis broke through .My plans for the old girl is to put a hemi 265 ,cut the bit of rust out that is mainly in the chassis and side panels all fixable. If any one can help that would be fine but please be honest no shit .As i have had problems on other forums with wrong advice and no information , I am not a dumb bastard and hate been jerked around .In the past have had and old hz panelvan with 253 then a hq ute that i did up with champane gold paint she was good old ute but the missis and kids came along and i sold it.The reason i ask for a chassis if it cant be done then i will scrap the old girl, but a shame.thank you

Hi mate

yes it can be done im doing it now.
I own a sheetmetal shop and have waterjet cutters and have rails on file mine step a little higher as most modifieds are a lot lower than stock .

I can do a set in flat pack that you assemble or i can do a set fabricated. might wanna consult an engineer.

Check out my build http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,17437.0.html
