2006.. thats not very long u realise!

I have two tanks next to each other and they look the same to me, (EK and FE) even have the same kind of dents... seems the wagons have a shallow departure angle and touch onto awkward driveways etc.

On the subject of fuel tanks... do the sedans have a rubber hose section in the filler tube?

hope this helps.

Cheers

Ed

Thanks you sooooooo much Ed, that's great news!  Grin

I don't think there is any rubber hose section.  My filler tube is all metal with the rubber seal around the mouth where the filler cap goes....

Hi Bear,

could you please hold a couple of bits for me. I'm after the lock down clips? that hold the rear seat in place. Don't know what theyre called but when the rear seat is in the normal position they hold it in place either side just below the rear windows and above the wheel arches. Thanks

Thanks Bear,
I think my cars are lovely too!  The wagon is my dream to finish.  I grew up in it and remember going to kindergarden and school and on holidays in it.  And just about every member of my family has had it at some stage - grandparents, parents, aunt - so my brother and cousins and I all have very fond memories.  I just hope I do a good job at the resto!

Hey Bear,
How bad is the top of the tank?  Is the rest of it OK?  How much do you want for it?

HI CAT
IT COULD PROBOBLY BE WELDED UP OK,AS THERE IS ONLY SOME SPOTS ON TOP,BUT THE SIDES AND BOTTOM ARE SWEET,EXEPT FOR A SMALL DING,THAT COULD BE KNOCKED OUT WHEN GETTING WELDED
IF IT IS GOING TO HELP RESTORE THAT TREASURED WAGON OF YOURS ,IT IS ON THE HOUSE.
I WILL BE GOING TO THE GOSFORD SWAP MEET ON SUNDAY THE 15TH OF THIS MONTH,I COULD TAKE IT THERE IF GOING,OR ARRANGE SOME OTHER TIME.
