Aren't they the same all models to HR, might be easier to chase up.

They are not actually the same, this fact eluded me for many a year.
The FE to EK button has a skinnier pair of ears where they lock into the barrel of the vent window. This is why they are commonly broken. The EJ to HR buttons look identical but the ears are thicker so they won't fit in the FE to EK barrel. This can be rectified by getting a small thin file and taking some metal out of the barrel till the button will fit in. Note that the handles are also different inside to match the buttons.
THe FE to EK handles are 7408522 and 7408523 whilst the EJ to HR handles are 7416350 and 7416351.
That's why if you put HR handles on to an FC with the FC button then the handle feels sloppy.

Now I've noticed the 48 to HR parts book has superseded the early handle and replaced it with the later handle. I can only imagine they were happy to have a bit of slop in the handle and reduce the inventory list. I checked the 48 to EJ parts book and it has the correct part numbers. Then I checked the 48 to FE parts book and it also has the correct numbers.

All that waffle said - I have some later handles, buttons, springs and pins here which can be made to work in the FC quarter windows. Send me a pm if interested.
