Hi everyone I have just joined this Forum due to purchasing a 57 FE from up Newcastle way. She is not a bad looking old girl and requires just a small tidy up of a few things. Before getting the FE I owned a 56 FJ was sad to see her go but, I was always after either an FE or FC. You guys on the forum have a wealth of knowledge and I look forward to seeing some of you out on the road. I am a member of the Milton Ulladulla Vintage and Classic Car Club and have been for some years I have held office as Events Director and President. Regarding my FE I am chasing a set of mudflaps and the rear window trim joiner don't know if anyone can help? Anyway look forward to many more posts.
Regards

Hi Gazman  Welcome

Shes a lovelly old girl Luke looked after her.
I looked at it at edgeworth also it was listed on the forum.

As for rear mudflaps there was a person selling them on the forum also they were available from a few sellers on ebay all have NASCO embossed.

The joiner on the rear im sure there will be many members able to help you.
Or i have a few contacts if they all fail.

Once again welcome PETE

I will be putting her on display on Aussie Day it is one of our clubs major events for the year at Mollymook Beach. Ken I will try and post a few more photos after Aussie Day, I will also send you a PM about the joiner thanks for your quick reply.

Hi Gazman, welcome to the forum, I'm pretty new here myself. I'm just up the highway a bit at Callala Bay and own a modified FE. I've sent you an Email.

I don't believe it - I have just come home from a week in exactly that part of the coast.  I didn't bother going to the markets, because I thought it was just markets, and now I find out there was a car display!!!!

I think this is a car that lived in Canberra before going up to Newcastle, and I had a good look at it then.  I could never get the owner to join our local club, so don't know any more than that about it's history.

Enjoy driving her - she's a beauty (as someone once said).

Cheers

David, what a shame you could not make it, as it get's bigger every year we had some members with their XU1's from Sydney come down and the Austin 7 club also joined us as well, we fill the whole carpark fronting the beach. Yep that sounds like the car Luke the previous owner told me it came from Canberra and previously from Melbourne thats about as much as I know.

Hi Garry,

Welcome to the forum, nice to see you're utilising the help that these generous people have to offer.
All the best mate,  Luke.

PS: I wanted to update my advert to "sold to a good home", but I couldn't post to the thread.

I was then I approached by someone wanting to see if she was for sale I just laughed at him and said you have got to be kidding I have only had her for a couple of weeks he could not believe that he never saw her for sale. To bad so sad I say  Grin Grin Grin
