According to the MasterParts manual, only the FE.

FX-FJ up to engine 136884 had one axle,
FX from engine 136884 had another type,
FE-FC had their own axle,
FB-EK had their own axle, and
EJ-HR had their own axle.

Cheers,
Harv

New ones come up every now and then as a NOS item, but they are not available as a new product. Second hand ones are easy to get as diffs are almost give away value from FE FC models.

Just remembering my older brother run 5x108 pattern 14" on FJ in the 70's so I'm thinking FC axles fit FJ housing .Does anyone know if this is correct? Dont own a humpy but do some resto. work on local old holdens and one of the neighbours asked me.

I can't see how it would be possible. FJ axles are removed with a puller and are totally different to FC axles. I think FJ owners in the 60's just used FE FC rear ends as a whole unit.

G'day hsv-001,
Correct, yes the FE-FC rear axles and associated parts do fit the wide leaf spring FJ diff housings.

Early FE front hubs and associated parts can also be used on FJ stub axles.

Fc axles fit into the later Fj housing. They use the same bearing and you have to use the Fc backing plate and drums.
