Hi Guys,
Just primed my first attempt at a steering wheel repair, so far so good put some force on repairs and holding well.

Solar spray booth working well.

Tried this Knead It from Bunnings, after veeing out the cracks, sets rock hard but surprisingly easy to sand.
All going well I will Paint it 2 pack black tomorrow.

i have repaired quite a few steering wheels . here's some  ideas.Grind  out any cracks and clean well . most two part fillers are basically the same chemicals only with different amounts of talc to make them easier to work [sand] .i usually paint a sealling coat of water based acrylic [house paint] . this acts as an isolator .then you can dry spray whatever colour you wish and finish with as many coats of clear as you want.
