Look at pedros build crs have adaptors in stock so you can run your original Speedo and so the computer gets a signal to stay happy.

I fitted an autometer speedo in MPH from the states. Matches up well with the V6 auto and easy to calibrate. There are some photos on my build here http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,12539.0.html Cheers Jack

I have kept the original with an adapter from V6 Conversions in Moree.
I think the type of transmission dictates whether it is possible or not.
Cheers

Sure does Craig, Assuming you'd have a VP box with geardrive it would adapt, however I have a VT gearbox which has an inductive speedo ie electrical pulse. These guys have one. I was quoted $800 straight off and then spoke to the guys "mum" and she said $500. I will be looking at using these guys for mine. It is based on a VDO speedo behind an FC gauge. Note the LCD odometer where the mechanical one was. Hope it helps. http://www.howardinstruments.com.au/product_details.php?productid=2389&mdid=910751139434743c4c7a92e05c7e6416

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Mine came from Castlemaine auto electrics and was for a cable setup, I can't find the receipt but I'm sure it was only around $350 with a new cable. Pedro
