Hi guys i know this is Hr not Fc i've tried the other forum and got no responce
I'm looking for my old car, I built it 30 yrs ago ,I sold this over 15 yrs ago, Sold to a guy in Winsor Sydney, then it went to some one in Liverpool in Sydney, He then sold it to someone in South australia
HR Premier,  Red with Grey vinyl roof, it has 350 chev turbo 350, 9inch
grey red and black trim
This should be a standout as it was a show car 15 yrs ago
The other standout would be that i put HZ guard flutes and a Petrol flap off cortina
Hadfield chassis kit
Any info would be great
Someone must know something about it

Hey Rick,I don't want to get your hopes up but I saw a Hr sedan almost identical to that at the Palmer Hot Rod show here in SA a couple weeks ago.Bonnet was shut so can't comment on what engine it had but I clearly remember it had the same guard flutes and same colour paint which seemed a little worn.Only trouble is I didn't take a photo of it but it may be a start.I don't know if anyone else on the forum went to the show but it would be worth asking.Jamie.

Hey Rick,I'm back.Spent an hour or so and found this pick on the net of the 2012 Palmer Street Party. This is the car I saw.And while I was looking through the photos I realised this is not the car that had the worn paint, that was something else.Looks pretty similar but you be the judge.

Cheers,Jamie.

I'm seeing plenty of differences although a lot can happen to a car in 15 years or so.I'll just say it's the one and give myself a pat on the back.... Grin Roll Eyes

I have a mate (FEambo) going to Adelaide next weekend for a combined cruise between the EJ-EH club and HD-HR club and will get him to keep an eye out and ask the question.  If its still in Radelaide Im sure someone would know about it.  It seems like a unique standout vehicle.

Might be a long shot, but you never know your luck in the big city.......

Not for lack of trying, these things take time. Undecided My sister owned a show class FC back in the 90's and I've posted on the forum looking for it but no luck.A lot can happen it that time and that is of course assuming the car even still exists.I'll remain hopefull. Huh

FE Ambo left this morning to go to Adelaide for the Sunday Cruise with the HD HR Car club, so he should be back Monday evening.  Fingers crossed.  I've been looking for a HT Premier Sedan in Monza Blue with a white roof now for over 6 years.  The two ive found where 4000kms away and no way to get it looked at and the other was a rust bucket beyond fesiable repair.  Still I wait and wait and stay hopeful.  You could start again, make a replica of your old car and have the "fun" of building another project.
