guys. here is an odd question that i cant get an answer to. to keep it as short as possible, about 4 years ago i want over a fibereglass holden with "holden" badge on the front with all grey running gear.
it was at the auto electricians and i met the owner who got it from the deceased estate of his neighbour who was an engineer at the pagewood plant where it was built. it had fj glass and i think fj type doors. it looked like a cross between the mercedes gullwing shape and an early corvette. he said 3 had been made and holden had fought  with the widow to get it back when the owner died.
i have never read anything or heard anything about this car  before or since and was wondering if anyone knew of such a vehicle. i am not on drugs.
the owner lives in my area and i cant take it any more. i am going to try to find him.
 best regards
Ian

well the response if half of what i expected. sorry you didnt understand the question. you see it was supposedly one of 3 prototypes made at holdens pagewood plant. it was fibreglass construction and it didnt have a badge saying "gmh". it had an enamel "holden" badge. actually. just forget it. no use flogging a dead horse and dont need the negative comments. I'm out

Ian,

Hang about and see what the historians know about this... i'm interested to know what it was.

can you describe any other distinguishing features of the vehicle?

Cheers

Ian,

Now hang on a minute,
What negative comments?
Also, I doubt if anybody understands the statement "about 4 years ago i want over a fibereglass holden".

Give us a break, mate. We all want to know what it is.
A bit more info might help us to help you.

Cheers,
Gaz.

I worked at GMH and actually saw the GTR.X. It was out in what was called the grave yard out the back. There must have been more than one built as the one there was orange. It too had the Torana XU1 motor. Chrome rocker cover and balanced rotor button in the dissy. I know because i pocketed it. Brett
