Hi after some advice can i put a 283 supercharged chev engine into a fc ute in nsw any advice would be appreciated thank you Rod67 Cool

Rod,

Best bet would be to chat with the engineer who is going to sign it off.

would hate to lead you down the garden path and see it get knocked back on sign off.

Engineers like to be involved from planning, through to build and then inspection, it is far easier that way, and you get to call them up and ask advice as you need it.

The formula "original weight" x 0.244 should give u the max cubic capacity allowable for SC engines.
This is according to NSW Code of Practice, however you may want to check VSB14 as during the build, the rules may change.

biggest my engineer said was 304
but charged is a different thing i have wondered about
