What's the latest Huh

Dean I was busy collecting bits & pieces that I needed and doing a little work on the car as I went (main priority was obtaining work again and finishing off the landscaping & reno's around the house) so it was very basic stuff (stripping a panel at a time to assess body, cleaning up chrome/stainless trim, sorting out the wiring (one of the worst/dodgiest jobs I've ever seen etc

Sadly a couple of months ago I came home (was not out long) to my car sitting half in the street/driveway with a chain hanging off the front.

Someone/people had obviously been watching the house as I had only moved the car out of the backyard to finish excavation for the retaining walls and new slab and stupidly left it in the driveway.  I took my dogs to the beach to cool off and when I came back the car was dumped (they were disturbed by a neighbour) all the parts/pieces that I had collected had been removed out of the car and sadly some damage was cause when they dumped the car.

I'm now in two minds if I want to continue with the project or sell the shell and my running gear and walk away as I'm still arguing with the insurance company about being covered (they won't payout as the car wasn't where it was stipulated it would be when I took out insurance Sad

So that's where I sit and why I've been quiet and not online of late.

Cheers

Ben

That sucks big time. From the point of view of it being taken in the first place and then the insurer trouble.
Who are you insured with?Huh
