Hsv-001

I have done exactly as you have outlined with the sway saddle mount.

Makes it a hell of a lot easier to mount and looks much neater.

Nearly there now, just dramas with my wheels being wrong offset and hitting top control arm on lock.
I bought six of them and was promised they would be fine, I have been talking to Pete about spacers but it does start to get messy with studs etc.

We did the first 25 mile at Collie Motorplex in the fe,they were kind enough to let me have the track for the day on my own.
My young bloke put some footage on youtube, Holden fe on track at Collie but I dont know how to upload it.
We took it pretty easy but it sat on the road quite well.

Well I got my car logbooked and had my first hitout at Collie Motorplex and all was good.

Tuning day at Barbagallo before the Nightmasters race day and at the fastest part of the straight disaster.

Now have couple of weeks to finish repairs before next meeting "Northam Flying 50'

Thanks,Gary

Instead of racing had to spend all weekend on repairs

Gearbox repaired and back in just waiting on new shaft (larger) to be made.

This one got under the radar... I guess now that it's on the track that close enough to being on the road and can go into the completed projects!
Another amazing example of a completed machine. Well Done!!
Would be good to see more vids as you go as well... We are all interested!

Cheers,

Just finished putting a tailshaft loop on my hotrod chassis .Don't think a loop would have held that shaft though. Haydn

Sorry Gary I have been thrown some more curve balls and had not been keeping pace on here. Well done on your achievement. If your going to events, do you have a social media page separate to this?
