Rod,

Any chance of posting pics and an asking price?

Just helps prospective buyers and interested parties.

Rod,

That's very nice you involve your wife in project decisions.

I have learnt, never to tell the wife about planned projects, the cost of a project, never tell her how long it will take, or how much time it will take, I don't even tell her when I sell a project, as this means I'm buying something else.

then everybody is happier... and I let her buy all the shoes and bags she could ever hope to have.

separate bank accounts helps a helluva lot too.

Cheers

Ed

My favourites are "Pete made this"   "JB sent this to me for free" or "with the money I got for selling commodore bits I was able to buy this" Roll Eyes

I reckon I've got it pretty good. My missus accepts the fact that every now and again something 'new' turns up. What's that for? Cause I needed it. I can't remember the last time she actually walked in the garage door. I just need to train her a bit better re the coffee etc. And I let her go shopping.

Hi Guys,
Just been reading this thread to my wife and having a giggle. My misses knows pretty well everything that comes or goes from our yard being the minister of finances. and she doesn't mind going to car shows and meeting club members.
BUT everytime I leave the yard with tools (MiG welder, grinder etc) I get asked who's project are you working on now, how long is this going to take (hours, days or months) and when will you be home. Remember it is my day off.

ALl good from here.

Just let the Minister for War and Finance know that it will make it look, run or sound better.

Has worked for me.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
