I'm just  doing some homework about bringing a modified Qld. car to Vic.

Does the mod plate on the vehicle list the codes for the various modes done?
For example "LG1" for brake system mod etc. etc.

Yes the mod plate lists codes for various mods, I think QLD Transport has these codes listed on there web site.

I believe Logan is a suburb of Brisbane?
Is there anyone nearby that would be willing to do a car inspection for me?
Any costs can be covered.
regards, sgo.

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

No worries sgo, happy to be of help.
unfortunately I can't tell you how much NES232 I was so stoked when he told me he would pass the old girl I never even asked Roll Eyes, I'm pretty sure if the welding is up to scratch and you've done everything correctly there will be no problems, I've done extensive mods to the chassis including cutting down the inner doglegs and making my own mounts for them on the Commodore chassis rails and he was fine with that because I made everything stronger than it needed to be, if you give him a ring and e-mail him some detailed pics of what you have done he will let you know.
