My FC was an unfinished project I picked up from down near Ipswich.
It has had an EK rear end grafted onto it....
I like it.....
It was a shell when I bought it. HR front and rear end, and some sort of chassis kit installed.....
I have modified the front end to include torana front mount rack and commodore brakes. Holden 304 mounts.
Diff is shortened commodore....
Here are some more photos.  Feel free to comment, add advice, or simply tell me I've done something wrong...
Cheers,
Shannon.

Difficult to form a strong opinion on the rear end until the car is painted and chrome strips (if any) fitted, but so far I think there's a lot of potential there  Smiley

Reminds me of a Buick...

Will be very interesting to see how it progresses; keep the pics coming please!

I like it, does this mean that you will have to join the FE FC club and the FB EK club, keep the photos coming.
Any colour choices yet.

good point mat  Smiley

believe it or not.. At this stage it looks like I'll be going a black/purple colour on top over poison ivy green on bottom...
if I get the colors right I think it could look good  Undecided the Mrs and kids have had some input on that obviously..

Gidday mate.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder mate. So if you think its a beautiful thing then just use others opinions as a guide and for ideas. When people do this type of thing though it really makes u think more about the poor ole stylists and engineers who have to marry an idea and bring it to fruishion within constraints of the coin.

It's a bit like the missus and i when we met. I still don't know what she saw in me looks wise. But some beverage helped and i had some personality I suppose. A bit like your car. It's gunna have some personality but the physical dimensions might be a bit outs whack cos ppl aren't use to seeing it that way. But with some trim work and paint work like u have in mind, there's no doubt that no matter what it turns out like, u will love it like a mother loves their child.

G'day Shannon and welcome aboard, I think what you have is nodoubt an uncommon melding of the two styles and it is to your likeing otherwise you would not have brought it. As others have said, this is YOUR project and it will be what you make it. There is nothing wrong with a cool custom job as long as someone has imagination then there will always be custom cars. It will be interesting to follow your progress and see how the "efcekay" turns out.
All the best, Jim

Nice find Gary, but I thought that was Alex's domain. Could it be the same car? stranger things have happened.

Thanks Guys,
I'm currently battling with the underbody.  With the rear swaybar, handbrake setup and exhaust left to go I'm getting rather anxious...
More photo's to come.
Thanks again,
Shannon.

Well, I've started the "Mini Tubbing " process.... Quite pleased really... Smiley I know that the welds will clean up ok in the next stage of the build.
I have also removed some of the underbody/boot floor pan and replaced it will curved 2mm plate to allow room for the twin "hotdog mufflers that will go either side of the fuel tank.

After I did the right hand side, my test 18"x 8" wheel now fits easily!  I even reckon I could go an inch or two wider..
