Like I said earlier, my spies are everywhere..

This image comes from fellow NSW Club Member and long-time non-participant in the forum Charlie Boozer, from his holiday a while back. He snapped this image in Egypt. He wasn't able to get any closer to get details, but you can definitely see some Holden family resemblance...

Check this photo i have been meaning to show you for ages I took in Egypt....

I don’t know what make or model it is, but it is definitely a cross between an FE and an EK

Here's a close-up:

Those sills look like they've seen some high-quality repair work. Roll Eyes

cheers

P.S. it's not a mrk11 Zephyr the f&r wheel arches are different and the rear door line is also not the same and the headlights are almost the same as the FE/FC. We will all have to keep or thinking caps on.

very similar to a '57 Simca Vedette, albeit in poor shape:

http://www.philseed.com/simvedette.html

The 4th photo down on this page looks almost identical - squared off wheel arches and distinctive chrome trim which curves down following the front wheel arch. The only thing that is in a slightly different position is the side indicator which looks a bit high.

I think it is the 'Versailles' model. Here's a fancy one:

I think we have a winner, well done Jonno. That is one brand I would not have thought about as we only had the smaller modle out here "some car that Simca" as the adds said.
