I really need to pull out the HR Steering Column and sort out the horn wire short and get the steering box reconditioned.
Is it possible to recon the box myself easily and successfully or is it best left to the pros?
If it is best left to the pros, are there any in Adelaide that can be entrusted with this job?

Glenn, there is a guy on eBay selling steering columns for all synchro gear box conversions. In his listing he also says he rebuilds steering boxes using later model bearings ect. Maybe worth getting in contact with him.

Ebay Item #160605773702
