auto Engineer.

Hi All.
I have just found out my local engineer has retired, leaving me in a quandry, the job is 95 % finished and I'll be needing one soon. I live on the far south coast of NSW and have a victorian address I can use.
Can any body help and recommend to me a name of a friendly engineer in either state.
Can somebody also tell me which state Is easier on conversions.
I don't know if it realy matters what I've done but just in case I need a certain engineer I have put a commodore floor pan with rails and 5.0L into my van..... All running gear is commodore.

If you have been under a rock for a few months there has been a lot of changes theres a lot of people waiting in NSW to get cars approved as the engineers have to go through a huge hoops to get authorised insured to do the work and hardlly have got their tickets..

i used a bloke near nowra,that was really cool .sounds like ya a bit far away though.st georges basin lpg,was the guy. can dig up number if ya need it.

You could say I've been under a rock, I had no reason to keep up with the latest as I had an engineer organised. I now realise why he retired ...all too much.
It appears I may have to use a Victorian engineer, but please let me know of any in the south coast area, or any in victoria. travelling a distance is no concern as I have gone too far with it to stop, any help would be very much appreciated.

I am currently in the process of going through designing a project in consultation with my engineer (Peter Gillard - Chamonix Aust, ADR Compliance services).  He also certified my previous project.  I did seek advice from another engineer but he is so hopeless with timely communication I have lost confidence in him.
So I am working with my previous engineer below to find an acceptable standard for my proposed modifications... 42 Ford pickup on air bags.  

I have approached this project in a more organised manner and have the build specifications laid out, with as much technical info I can lay my hands on and where possible included pictures of the ideas in use.  The engineer initially was reluctant to be involved, however with careful planning he is now warming to the idea.

To get the attention of an engineer, list all your modifications, document thoroughly what you have done, and how it meets the standard (NSW Code of Practice).  Your engineer will thank you for it, and it will make the process a lot easier.  Include plenty of photos of what you have done.
