Why bother joining a car club? Ill tell you why its 5.00 friday night you wander out to the garage to change over modified red motor that is not going to make it from Melbourne to Perth remember we are less than a month from leaving for the Nationals. I decide i wonder if i ring steve from the club will he come and give me a hand with no notice. Of course he does come straight around from 1/2 an hour away .we have a huge night old motor out . replacement motor prepped and ready to go into car .Steve leaves at 12.30 saturday morning leaving me feeling that why its one of the reasons we join car clubs to have the company of like minded souls who are not only keen to have their car on the road but to see yours there as well thanks Steve and to all the other people who do the same sort of thing

Yep your dead right,

On my way home from the Nat's in Orange, I broke a timing gear at 5 O'clock on a Friday night at a place called Murrayville, in the middle of nowhere, and the network of club blokes came to my rescue getting the car going again by Sunday.

And you will enjoy that good company travelling to Perth with like minded people, The trip across the Nullabour is a fantastic trip in an old Holden and one that you will never forget.

That's why you Join a Club.

"like" heh heh

Ive sold my FE but still in the club and no desire to join another club even though I'm now building a F$*&.

Just a great bunch of people.

I'll probably get another FE or FC some day.
