What are the chances of making 1 with a single din radio hole on the left instead of the 2 gauge holes?
In the mean time i'll take 1 with the 3 holes please.

Hi,

Are you over in Perth at the Nationals, if so see Richard Thomas (RET) he has some mounts with him.

Can you please advise the din cut out size. I will check to see if I can have it done that way.

Cheers

I'm in Melbourne. I need a standard single din size which is 180mm x 50mm ( or in the US it's 7" x 2"). There may not be enough width (or depth come to think of it, I better go have a look), but it would save me doing a glovebox job, as the original radio is staying.

Single DIN which is the industry standard which is about 2 inches tall and 7 inches wide. You will find these in many older vehicles, most german cars still run single dins as well as a few other imports and a few new models though its less common these days.

1.5 DIN Which are kind of rare and are more often found in marine audio are 3 inches tall and 7 inches wide.

The newest and the new car standard since around 2005 is the Double DIN which is 4 inches tall by 7 inches wide. These are going to be your video units, nav units, and somtimes just regular stereos companies choose to make into double dins. (think late 90's-00's Commodore)

And the latest craze now is going really old school and making head units that only fit the specific vehicle, with huge platic displays as part of the dash centre. Trying to control what goes in I guess.

Anyway, there's a bit more junk to fill up your FUSI gland.

No worries. Thanks anyway John. I'll take a double and a triple. Just let me know how and when to pay, and how much with postage to Bitter, VIC.

Hi Pinky,

Thanks for being patience, I received my stock from the Nats last night.

I have 2 hole Metal mounts $25.00

I have 2 hole Stainless Steel mounts $35.00

I have a 3 hole Stainless Steel mount $45.00.

At this stage I will not be manufacturing any more mounts until the stock I have is gone.

I can post 2 mounts to Bittern 3819 for $13.50 registered.

If you want the mounts please advise & I can advise my bank details.

Thanks for your enquiry.

Cheers
John
