After a few years of work and an complete strip down my 59 FC is now registered and on the road.  When I get time to take some decent pictures I'll add them to this page.  We went on a rally yesterday with our vintage car club.  It was only registered the day before so I guess I was a little nervous about things going wrong.  Fortunately everything went went well without any problems. I appreciate all the help given to me by the forum members for some dumb and not so dumb questions over the past several tears.  Thanks.

Keith

Here are some more pictures as promised.  The close up one of the steering wheel appears to show missing finish.  It is only a reflection from the flash.  I have a venetian blind which I still have to install. The colours are original as per the ident plate.  Main body is India Ivory with Black infill.

Well done Keith, you have done a fantastic job on the old girl, as others have said now it's time to enjoy all that hard work. I noticed in the photos, your armrests are red!! my interior is the same but I have black armrests I also have another set of door trims(not so good now the rats had a field day with them), which also have red armrests, is there two styles or have I got a strange one.

Hi Jim.  Firstly thanks for the kind remarks.  The arm rests were all red.  There was just a little bit of wear so I decided to recover them.  I have never seen black arm rests with red cards but I am no expert on the matter.  Perhaps Ken may know if GMH decided to have the two colours.  Black would look good.

Nick, they have been chewed by rats most of the foam has gone. I was thinking of having them fixed and putting them on the rear doors.
Keith, mine look original and the interior is in reasonable nick for it's age to my knowledge it has'nt been touched

Great work Keith.

The car looks incredible.
Seeing stuff like this gives me a boost when looking at the long road ahead on mine.
