I'm in NSW and heard there are new laws out, is it true if I chuck a V6 in and the car has an air bag then it must be installed too?
I am moving to Qld in a few years, maybe I should get it registered there?!?

I have searched everywhere on the RTA site and can't find the info to read. Any one know where to find rules and regs on modifying? Or the QLD version?

Haven't herd that one,

I know what ever engine you chose, the pollution side must met or excuse that of the car removed from,

If on the other hand you do a chase swap then the car must comply to all adrs for that mdl vehicle,

I know in my hilux witch had a 253ci I wasn't aloud to run petrol as the motor didn't meet the pollution standard so I had to run straight gas to get it passes

But I don't see that being the case with a late mdl v6

But best to contact a local engineer and speak to them as no all the regs ad laws
