Does any body make new brake drums for the fe fc, cause they are all getting close to there use by date.

I don't believe they are available new - there are plenty of brake drums out there that are still OK. Just check ID is 9 inches. 9 and 1/16 is good for one more machine. 9 and 1/8 - throw it away

While on this, are there any better shoes to buy, like more expensive ones for original brakes or doesn't it seem to matter?
