just seeing if anyone has attempted to [plug- weld]the 5 mounting holes on tasman mags.i found a mint set of 14''but they're valiant stud pattern.i'm not sure of the composition of the alloy back then& i'm not that up to date with mig welding of alloys,any advice would be great,thanks gaz?

change the stud pattern on your car gaz...
or go to ajax wheel works in moorabin,vic...

i think what they have is a steel piece cast into the alloy centre and that's what is used to weld the centre into the steel rim, we used to do it when i worked in a foundry
