remove the sliding door glass and the bailey channel at the top of the door frame
remove the self tappers along the sloping edge of the door frame - could be 2 or 3
open the window & lift up the rubber seal below the 1/4 vent handle and find / clean 2 tiny little self tappers
removing these can be easy or hard depending on the amount of rust
remove nut from the bottom of the window runner and if possible remove the bolt as well
Not essential to remove the bolt but you will have to push it in to get the frame out
Carefully prise the window channel out from under the frame at the top of the door & remove
working on the inside of the door prise the frame towards the rear of the car with a screw driver working evenly between the corner and the top
The wind deflector will fall out once the frame is loosened
When the frame is loose it should be easy to manouvre the frame out of the door
