Hi all,

I was going to put a V8 in my FC Wagon but have changed my mind and using a red 6 instead, so I now have a modified HR front end to suit a V8 with a steering rack but no upper or lower wish bones, stub axles etc.

My question is what would it be worth to sell as is, as mentioned its just the modified cross member and the steering rack?Huh

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi FC_NUT

Is the front end to suit a chev or holden v8 and is it a rear or front mounted rack?

Cheers

Im not sure how to check the difference or if there is any difference between the two, Maybe ring Castlemaine rod shop to find out if they are different, if its a front mount rack is a good chance it is one of theirs.

I do have another,

The V8 one has a section of the crossmember modified to suit a V8 sump I assume and what looks like higher than normal engine mounts.
