Sounds like Santa was good to you Jim.
Must feel good to be able to get a few straight days on it again.

Five days, 100 belts and a lot of sanding and cleaning with a little air belt sander, the floor is now cleaned and painted.
next step is to apply the Lizard Skin spray on sound proofing. Then test fit sub frame and hang all doors, guards and bonnet before paint.

Thanks guys for your support, Gman, it's taken a lot of time and effort to get the body to this stage. The fact that I love the car is probably the only reason I kept going after finding out how bad it was when I pulled it down.

Another Christmas/New Year present, got a message from Glenn (Stinky) to let me know my trim is all but ready. Things are now coming together so mid year (or a bit earlier) is looking good for the car to be back on the road.

Very nice Jim (& Glenn).
Did you get the top of the seats embossed?

Mine are the plain seats the embossed seats came out in the late 59's with the fin extenders. The door trims are embossed but the photos don't show it up that well.
