Hi Guys,

I am looking to get a hold of a windowless top tailgate for my Van.
Hopefully there are still a few around.
If anyone has got one or knows of someone that could help it would be appreciated.

Cheers
Jason. Grin

Hi Slim,

I saw one on a trailer that had been converted from a van about 1994 when I first came to Cairns and haven't seen it since. Would be good to find it now.

You realise Slim that you have now just become a customiser !
It might be a standard option from factory but you developed it and and put it into reality ,Whats next twin headlights and a luvred bonnet with lashings of flames melting over the front sheet metal ...  Grin
If thats a factory thing it has to be one of the coolest options available - No practicality because style took its place.
Maybe a couple of clamp on teardrop mirrors will do the trick for vision

Lucky for me I do a lot of forward driving , and I like living dangerously, Harko , me a customizer , HARDLY . Im a STANDARDIZER.  I reckon it looks shit hot for a  -------------"         commercial vehicle"". Even if Im the only one who thinks so .

I reckon that it looks pretty hot too Slim... Although I do like RET's idea about driving with it up for vision.
The camera option isn't too bad either.

Cheers
Jason.

Not to mention the 'spoiler' effect!  Although I'm sure there's enough weight over the back in Slim's 'shop on wheels'... Wink

I used to drive my wagon around like that a bit.  Bloody noisy.  But better the road noise than the sound of crunching metal, if you ask me...
