Hi - I have a 59 fc sedan to sell - but not sure what it's worth. I do know I want it to go to a good restorer's home - it's absolutely straight, with no mods. Drives well, great gearbox. I got as far as doing brakes, rust, seals, bought new mats etc. Unfortunately, storage issues mean it (very reluctantly) has to go.
Best offer - no rego though- need you to organise own transport.
I hope it finds a good home! (pics available, I'm just not sure how to post them here).  I'm in Melb 'burbs. thanks.

You just need to Register on the site (free) and you'll be able to post pix on the site.  Must be JPEG, 64kB max per pic.

cheers

If you want to email them to me I'll post them for you.  But FWIW all you have to do is start a new reply.  Under the box where you type your message you will see the word "Attach", with a button to click "Choose File".  When you do that you'll get a standard File Open window where you can choose the pic.  One attachment per reply, so either use Photoshop or similar to make one file with all the pix in it, or post several replies, one for each image.

You were a member of our club for a while a few years ago?  Didn't realise you'd moved to Melbourne.

Hope that helps,

where was this car when I was looking.

Well to late I have mine now and it looks no where as good.

Good luck selling your car and I hope it goes to a worthy buyer.

Hi Julie
Your Welcome, I am hoping to attend the Nats at Easter, but as things have it work takes precidence (it also pays for my new found FC addiction) and I may be off to the America.

I am hoping to have my care on the road for that weekend I would like to take her down for atleast one of the days.

So if I am there and your there, see you there.

Cheers Jim

hi all,

My car still available, but can we all be clear that it's not a 'ready to drive' number? it's only 3K, and is for an enthusiast to take and finish the restoration. Having said that, it sounds great and it goes really well !
As I said before, it would be great to see the car go to a genuine FC fan, who will bring it up to its potential. It does provide a good starting point, as nothing really major is wrong with it.
Thanks for the interest so far, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I can't believe it either! It is a great car, and drives really well. I wish I had more of the skills i need to finish the project, and the space to do it in.

I guess if it doesn't sell soon, that something's telling me she should stay with me...

Oh well - must be fate!

Thanks for the comment nicko

Julie,
If you would like, we could advertise the car in our Newsletter for you at no charge. It looks a good car and we would be only to happy to help you where we can. If the car is not already sold please contact me and i will  help you out. I would also be interested in the cars spec plate details etc. Look forward to hearing from you.

Julie,

Have you sold your FC. I am a beginner but have spoken to a lot of people in the clubs and quickly learning.

I am looking for something that is original and not been played with or modified.

Yours seems great for me as my wife and I are wanting to get into a club and get involved.

I am in Lismore, northern NSW.

Please let me know if she has been sold and we can talk then.

hi there,

Kevin is that you?
I think we've spoken via direct emai.. if it is you , you'll have all the info - just call me if you want to visit to look at the car, or if more pictures would suffice. I am on the verge of getting it re registered here in Vic so I can at least drive her around while I'm waiting to sell. Problem is, I may decide to keep her then!
Anyway, thanks for the interest in the car
Regards
Julie

Julie,
Yes that is me.

A bit far for me to travel unfortunately.

Thanks for getting back to me.
