Engine and motor?? Or engine and subframe? if its the latter then have a look at mine with the VT booster.

Cheers

I think that the gemini booster is a lot smaller in diameter than the VT booster, so will fit, but as ofr  the stopping power I can't tell you... Ken will be the man to give this advice.

Cheers

I used a VR booster on mine and it just cleared the bonnet hinge. I had to modify the spacer bracket to make the reservoir level but by using the original brake cylinder hole the pushrod for the VR booster lines up perfectly with the original brake pedal arm just necessitating a new hole being drilled thru the arm. Have a look at my build there are a couple of photos of the booster. http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,12539.0.html

when you say lines up with brake pedal arm, did you use original FC brake pedal and support and modify foot on that, or use the commodore bracket and pedal

Hi, I used the original brake pedal and support and just welded the larger pedal pad over the top of the original one. This should keep your engineer happy too. Cheers ,Jack

The good thing about Commo (and other) booster mounting to the pedal is that they mount to the side of the pedal rather than directly in front of the pedal like the original master cylinder.
This means that you can move the booster about 10mm away from the bonnet hinge from centre if you use the original Commo mount system. On the other hand a smaller booster can be moved away from the clutch master if you are using a manual gearbox.
