Hi All

I have come across some of these French Made (Kalori) heater fan units (Part No: 120.14.082) called the Silencio FAI.  I have a PDF version of its specs/dimensions along with additional photos that I can e-mail if you like.

They are extremely compact and after all the dramas I’ve had over the years trying to find something that will fit within the confines of an early model Holden dash and remain out of sight, I think these are great.  They are 12V, single speed, almost silent and has 5/8th” hose fittings.  Current draw for the fan is tiny at 2 Amps.  Not the biggest and most powerful heater unit you can get but for the money and something that will fit out of sight it’s going to make a big difference.

The vent panel at the front is 210mm x 156mm and incorporates the 2-position switch (although it would be very simple to relocate this elsewhere).  The heater/fan unit is smaller than the front panel being roughly 170mm (L) x 133mm (W) x 133mm (D).

Fitting it would be relatively straightforward with some simple bracketry, plumbing and wiring – all in an afternoon’s work and beats freezing during winter!

I will post them on here and the FB/EK Forum for a week or 10 days and then eBay.
