We all know the similarities of our cars with 55 - 57 Chevs, but have a look at this, this is the closest GM front end to the FE I've seen. The same guys must have styled the FE. I think this a 1955 Cameo Carrier (doesnt have the stepside bed)

Hi John,

For somebody so knowledgeable about all makes and models of cars, I'm surprised the you didnt spot this a long time ago.. or you probably did and just refrained from posting.

I wanted an FE because I thought it looked like a scaled down 55 pickup.

I also think an EK with FC front and rear would be  similar to a 55 Chev sedan... something I would love to build... wonder which Nationals I would attend tho??

Cheers
