Beautiful. Very nicely done. How did you hookup the column shift to the commo gearbox?

had it modified to the collapsible column( but a shit job by rods racks ) had to fix that , then run a marine shifter cable and gearbox adaptor off summit racing . bit of a hassle but works great now really wanted to keep the original look to the car .

Yeah , the problem with the cable [b&m] connected column shift  is every bend in the cable creates movement between inner and outer and therefore slop in the shift and was never a real success . And interesting idea I noticed a while back was that early Hillman Minx with 4 speed manual boxes used a cable through a steel [fuel line ] outer and only enough flex at either end for mounts . Just a piece of engineering history for people who want to think out side the norm. Haydn
