Crossply Tyres - What pressure?

I am setting up an FC that has crossply tyres fitted.

What are you guys using for tyre pressure with these 'modern' crossplies?

My thought is to chuck 35-40psi in them to stiffen the sidewalls.

Another question - has anyone got a wheel alignment spanner for sale?

Hi Craig  I would try 28-30 psi first, I have an adjusting spanner you can borrow if you want.   cheers Al

According to the "Shop Manual" pressure should be 22 psi front and rear for all models. Pressures should be set when the tyres are cold and should be checked once a week. The same applies for tube & tubeless.

Hey Grandpa Al, I appreciate your view and offer of a spanner. The car has been aligned and all sorted. I put 30psi in them so we'll see how it goes.

Hey Craig,

22 is too low. I run my (admittedly old) Bridgestone B7+ tyres at 26psi. Even at that pressure they still squeal a bit. I wouldn't be going as high as mid 30s, that's for sure.
