I am standing in the national general elections in Ireland as an independent - angry old man just had enough and decides to have at run at political office.... Forget the politics but my FC ute is my campaign car and I have it near the start and near the end of the video.
Cheers,
paul

Paul Politics is a somewhat tough and generally unforgiving environment, but it is a good platform if you want to be MAD (Making A Difference). Great video which portrays you as being, sincere, concerned and authentic, and of course a connoisseur and enjoyer of fine automobiles. Good luck with the election

Paul I want you to come back down under and run for Prime Minister
Hey Mark...he doesn't qualify.
Not a big enough bogan.
Seriously though, Paul, goodluck with the election.
Are you sure you know what you are getting into?
Regards

Thanks for the encouragement - as a newbie I probably won't get elected but you never know.
Imagine an Irish politican driving to work in an FC ute?
How cool would that be?
What I probably need is the ABC or 7 or 9 to pick up the story and get the Irish living in Oz to tell the families back home about it so they can get out and vote!
And no Alex, I didn't know what i was letting myself into - but sometimes you have a go anyway.

Well done Paul and good luck. I know exactly what you are doing, as I did the same thing a number of years ago. Got sick of complaining and decided to have a go myself. I served two terms in local government and believe me you certainly can make a difference as an individual. Never be scared to stand up and voice your opinion, people will listen, and you can help to make change for the better. regard Weddo

How did I do? Last....
http://www.rte.ie/news/election2011/results/cork-east.html Thanks for the support anyway, and maybe I will try the local scene next - or maybe just hang up my political boots altogether!

Imagine an Irish politican driving to work in an FC ute?
I'm afraid that
that was your problem Paul.
Now if you'd said "imagine an Irish politician driving to work in an FE sedan?"............

Paul; people who (very justifiably!!) whinge about lying deceitful theiving self-serving polititians are as rife as rectums...
Those who attempt to do something about it are extremely rare and therefore precious.
So 'goodonya, mate!' (you precious little pup
