SMASA Show 'n' Shine, over 100 cars pre-entered and we expect the same amount to turn up on the day.

Lots to see and do, kids activities and face painting, Memorabilia, Trade Stands, Food Stalls and maybe a nice car and bike or two Tongue
Gates 10am to 4pm, $5 spectator entry, kids free.
You can still enter your car on the day between 7:30am and 9:30am, $20 for non members, $10 for SMASA Members, $5 extra each for Judging and Sound Off.
Show 'n' Shine T-Shirts with Ralfus artwork $30 each (S, M, L, XL, XXL & XXXL).

don't know of any making a debut.  Huh But, I do know of one that the last time it was on an oval for a show was 21 years ago at the '90 SMASA SnS just after it had been rebuilt - and, IMHO, it looks way better now than it did back then!  Cheesy

..... obviously entrant numbers were down for it to actually get dragged onto the oval! Cheesy

It's actually quite a big milestone - it's the 30th annual SMASA Show n Shine and I understand there will be a few blasts from the past there (people as well as cars)  Smiley

Hoping you have a blast Kathi, and you get a chance to catch up with the old crew.

He did a lot of our S&S posters in the 80s and 90s, he was an obvious choice for the poster art for the 30th.
PM me your postal and size details and I should be able to sort something out.

Just a list of sponsors printed on the back.

No worries.

For anyone who may be interested in the cars chosen for the art, the HQ was one of the bigger trophy winners at the previous year's show and the XR GT was selected for a long time (now Life) Member of the Association. He will be there with his Gold XR GT, his Gallaher Silver GT and his White "53D" XR GT, all fantastic cars. I have been told that Street Machine Magazine may be covering the event so keep an eye out for a feature in future issues.

absolutely beautiful day for the show - lots of FX/FJ's but only 2 FE's  Wink

However, we did chat to 2 guys that each had a windowless FC van squirrelled away in their sheds.  One's been there for 25 years and he's getting ready to start and the other is currently awaiting a chop top so, there's potential for a couple more to be on the road in the next couple of years.  Cheesy

Thanks to all that attended or supported the show.
There are a few pics here
you might recognise a couple of the cars  Wink

Hey Guys, is this the Hot Adelaide show from years ago? I went to it 3 years in a row and it was grouse. I had a HJ Statesman at the time and we went racing at A I R.

That's the one, the Hot Adelaide theme was great for crowds but bad for the bank balance, so the show went back local ovals and dropped the drags.
We would have had to drop the drags anyway as AIR more or less closed 10 years ago, they run Gazzanats (burn-outs) once a year and that's it now.

Is Thommo stil involved? He was the driving force back then to get interstate cars across and help out with accommodation. We had a ball over there, some of the best memories from car shows. And great people.
